2025                                         INTRODUCTION



















             It  is  with  great  pride  and  enthusiasm  that  our  students  reintroduce  E-Lit,  the  departmental
             student journal that was first published 24 years ago. After a long silence, it is time to breathe new
             life into this platform, a space that once reflected the creative and intellectual energies of our
             students and now aims to do so again with a renewed spirit and vision. This revitalization of E-
             Lit owes much to the dedication and guidance of Dr. Hasan SAĞLAMEL, who played a big role
             in  its  initial  publication  as  a  student  and  now,  as  a  faculty  member,  continues  to  inspire  and
             support our students.

             As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our department, E-Lit returns not just as a nod to our
             past but as an integral part of the celebrations that have marked this milestone year. Alongside
             the  various  activities  held  throughout  the  year,  this  second  edition  of  E-Lit  symbolizes  our
             commitment  to  honouring  our  history  while  embracing  the  future  with  renewed  enthusiasm
             and purpose. E-Lit, among many other things, is a testament to how our students are inspired to
             go beyond boundaries and leave their mark on their own history. It reflects their ability to dream
             big, think critically, and contribute meaningfully to the legacy of our department.
             We hope this edition of E-Lit will once again serve as a platform for our students to share their
             voices, ideas, and creativity, and we look forward to seeing how it will evolve as a reflection of the
             vibrant academic and cultural life of our department.


             Welcome back, E-Lit. Let this be the beginning of a new chapter.
